| The name says it all. As well as being a reminder of the Sun King. The lid is made of cherry arranged in a star shape both inside and out and framed by an inlaid strip of contrasting wood. The subtly playful inlaid work and ornaments in rosewood, myrtle, and walnut all make the Louvre a masterpiece of craftsmanship.
